Come on teachers - it's time to shout about what we are doing right

Read an inspired article about our profession and education, which students can use to discuss their own ideas and create a little debate while practising the language of opinion.

Come on teachers

Prince Charles gives weather forecast

Are you tired of the traditional weather forecasting? Give it a go with a new and unexpected host.

Students will have to spot the mistakes in the sentences below, according to what they hear and see.

1.       This morning it will be warm, wet and windy across most of England.

2.       We’re above the influence of low pressure.

3.       The sun, of course, will be heaviest over the borders and around Edinburgh, where it could lead to many people on the roads.

4.       In the east, rain will be lighter and patchier.

5.       There will be storms for the higher ground of the Highlands and Aberdeenshire.

6.       The best of the wetter and brighter weather will be in the northern Isles.

7.       A cold day everywhere, with temperatures of just 16 Celsius.

8.       Thank God it is a bank holiday!
